INTERNS-3D: Join us to design and build a new type of 3D Printer

Job Summary:

We have seized a World-wide opportunity with a substantially disruptive 3d printing technology. As a result, we are pleased to present an excellent opportunity to join our team as an intern. There are multiple posts – as many as 5-6 intern slots. We want engineers, chemists, product designs, electronics, IT, programmers. Basically, if you like the idea of building new machines, solving problems, learning how things work, then you’ll love this.

It doesn’t matter if you’re:

  • a 2nd year, going into your 3rd year after the summer
  • a 3rd year, going into your 4th year after the summer
  • just graduated and want some experience,
  • just like building stuff

If you’ve still got another year of study, we’ll consider sponsoring you throughout your final year of study too if things go well. If you’ve graduated already, and just want some job experience to put on your cv, that’s cool too..

This project requires the intern(s) to really get under the skin of our game-changing technology, invent, share the journey. The goal during the internship over this summer is to build a working prototype that does what it says on the tin…

Key questions:

How should we best approach this new 3d printer machine design?

What are the opportunities and challenges?

What methods should we adopt to build a ‘quick and dirty’ prototype to prove the principle?

Who should we partner with, and why?

What are saleability issues?

How this fits into current and future plans:

This is our raison d’etre. As the intern, you will be delivering a vital project, as such, we will be looking at the candidate(s) as potential future team members who can run, sprint, and grow with us.
